New pics and new food

Yesterday was Mckray's 4-month doctor appointment.. He weighed in at 14.2 lbs and 25 inches long. (geeezz) Anyway, while we were there, the doctor told me that its time to start introducing him to baby foods and cereals.. I was a little surprised, I didn't know they started that early, but totally excited for him to try new things! So today, Mckray and I made a dash to provo to get a high chair for him, and also get some naked pictures of him taken before he gets too big. (I love the baby naked pics!)

Here are a couple of pictures of him eating the cereal for the first time tonight. He was litterally screaming when we set him in the chair and once we put the spoonful in his mouth he stopped. I don't think that he minded his new food at all!

Believe it or not..

...this little monster is ROLLING!

I'm a little disappointed that I missed his first roll from his back to his tummy.. I was in Fairview last night, and I left Tim home to watch Kray. Well when I got home and we were bathing him Tim was saying how funny it was that he kept rolling from his back to his tummy, then from his tummy to his back. I said, "WHAT?? He rolled while I was gone? You do realize that is the first time he's rolled over don't you??" Tim smiled and said, "Oh, I thought he had rolled already".. Anyway, I did miss the first one, but he did roll plenty today while I was home with him. I can't believe how fast he's growing and doing all of these new things. It makes me so sad to see it go so fast, but I also feel so blessed that he's healthy enough to do all of these things, learn and grow. Being a mom is just the most incredible role that anyone could ever play in this lifetime. Honestly, I cannot describe the love I have for this sweet spirited, beautiful baby boy.

His newest discovery (besides the rolling) is spitting. Yep, I did say spitting! Tim taught him and he is SO proud. I'm still trying to catch him in the action- and get a picture, but for some reason he's a little camera shy.. I really don't know where he got that from. Hopefully I'll have a picture of him to post soon.

Here's just a little video of him smiling- last night, we were getting ready for bed, I had just laid him in his bed and was reading.. it was really quiet and for about 10 minutes he sat there and cooed (spelling?) it was so cute. Tim and I sat there and giggled quietly so he couldn't hear or see us.. Finally I got my phone and he saw me, so he stopped cooing but did sit there and smile at me for a minute, so I thought I'd post that anyway..

Its been a while since I've posted any pictures of Kray on here.. he's just so much fun, he is constantly laughing and smiling, although I can't get a picture of him doing either for the life of me, but I'll keep trying!-- He's ALWAYS entertaining Tim and I.

I can't imagine life without him!

Here's a video of him playing in his little saucer we got him for Christmas-I think it entertains Tim and I more than him, but he's learning to love it.

Hockey Game- Go Grizzlies!!!

Saturday a bunch of friends from high school all met at the Olive Garden to have lunch/dinner- it was so fun to see everyone that I haven't seen forever.. Although I only got to stay long enough to be sat at our table then I had to leave. Tim came and picked me up and we went up to the E Center to watch a hockey game- we had such a blast! My mom, dad, Cass, Lacee and Colter all came with us.. it was so funny, the whole time Cassidy just kept saying "fight, fight, come on, just FIGHT" he was wanting to watch them fight rather than watch them play hockey. There was one fight aside from them just slamming eachother into the sides of the hockey rink, they actually took off their helmets and started punching each other, it was pretty entertaining! The few pictures that I have I had to take with my phone, I didn't have my camera with me--

I couldn't get Tim to smile in a picture for the life of me.. so this is as good as it gets!
And yes, the Grizzlies won, 6 to 4.. What an awesome game!!

WoooHOOOOO!!

I just have to share the MOST EXCITING news of the day.. So it started just like any ordinary day, wake up, go to work.. you know, the fun stuff. Well I pulled up KBull 93 on my computer at work, for a little music entertainment, shortly thereafter they had the famous "play that Rascal Flatts song backwards" followed by a, "call 4, 5, or 670-9393 for Rascal Flatts concert tickets".. so I dialed the number- busy.. so I tried again- busy.. Well the third time's a charm!! Thats right everyone-- I won Rascal Flatts concert tickets by naming that song backwards, it was so sweet and I am SUPER, SUPER excited! I just love them! So come February 26th, guess what I'll be doing- thats right..

To bring in the new year, we all got together at Cory and Lacey's, it was awesome! We played rock band, mad gab, catch phrase and ate and ate and ATE! We had such a blast- especially when the girls KILLED the boys in mad gab- Way to go team! Lacey and I went to Wal-mart earlier that day and bought some new year's eve attire! (see below)

My little Mckray- He'll probably hate me for this one day! Although, I think he looks adorable!
