Since I haven't updated my blog for a long time, I thought I would share a few things that have been happening at the Beesley residence!

Tim is FINALLY done hunting. Yes, this hunt took over our lives for about a week, and now life is almost back to normal. He hunted day and night, and never brought anything home (except hurt pride from shooting about 10 times and never hitting anything!) Needless to say, I'm excited that its over, and I have my husband back for a little while. We're excited for winter (ok, not the snow part) but excited for life to slow down a little, and spend some time together. Mckray is finally almost walking... keyword, almost. He'll walk back and forth to us and take tons of steps, but he just won't walk around on his own. Hopefully soon, we think he'll be much happier when he can walk around with us. He now has 8 teeth.. crazy huh! He is seriously full of attitude and pure craziness (inherited from his father) and knows what he wants, but we have so much fun with him!
Tonight for family night we carved pumpkins and made brownies! Tim was in charge of picking up the pumpkins and he did a great job. We didn't use any special patterns or anything, we just kinda made up our own. We had so much fun, and Mckray ingested more pumpkin seeds than anyone ever should in a lifetime! Here are some pictures of our night, Mckray and Tim eating the brownie batter and our pumpkin carving!

He loved the pumpkins, he kept going crazy hitting them and crawling all around them, it was so funny!

eating a seed... :/

CARVING TIP: To get all of the 'guts' and seeds out of your pumpkins use an old jar lid, the seal part, not the ring. It works wonders! Also, don't draw on your pumpkin with a Sharpie marker and expect to be able to wipe it off! :)

Yesterday my mom, Lacee and I went to conference. Tim said that I couldn't talk him into going because it was the opening weekend of the elk hunt.. so I told him I'd take someone else, and I did. We left early in the morning.. went to the 10 am session. It was amazing. The spirit is so overwhelming.. and I know conference is awesome on tv, but watching it live was just such a spiritual experience for me. Afterwards we went and ate at our favorite Spaghetti Factory, then shopped and shopped.. it was a total girls day, and it was awesome!!!

Inside the conference center...

... and outside

I loved this. This lady was holding a sign that said "I LOVE MORMONS" I thought it was awesome considering most of the time all of the signs that you see outside have some weird comment about the church on them.

SO many people!

love this picture.. yep, they're showing their 'true-selves'

We had an amazing day, I couldn't have asked for more!
