Ahhhhhhhhh... the joys in life

This was the other day, I was down stairs doing laundry, {yes, me, laundry} and I came up to this.. *you'll have to turn my playlist off to hear it

I couldn't stop smiling- I love that I have a husband who has enough kid at heart to play and make my baby boy this happy!

It was also this handsome guy's birthday yesterday.. he just turned 23! He's so amazing, I love him so much! {this picture was taken at the shop, Kray and I got to hang out with him up there on Saturday and work on the derby car.. more pictures to come}

We had a great weekend! On Friday, I talked Tim into taking the day off and going to seven peaks- just the two of us.. to my surprise (and I'm sure to most of yours) he actually did it! We got a babysitter for Mckray and we spent the entire day together, just us, at seven peaks. It was an incredible day, the weather was beautiful and we just hung out, riding slides, playing in the wave pool and the lazy river, and I even got him to lay out and take in the sunshine! For lunch we packed a cooler to make sandwiches and have a little picnic. Tim had to get a pizza lunchable.. seriously, I think those things are so gross! I swear thats the reason I got him to go.. I had bribe him! :) I enjoyed every minute that day, just being with him, the love of my life! I didn't take my camera in, I didn't want it to get stolen, but this is a picture of us in the car on the way up... soooo excited!

On Father's Day we went fishing with my family. We just drove up to Gooseberry and fished for a couple of hours then made a fire, roasted hot dogs and made s'mores.. We had so much fun even though the wind blew most of the time. I don't have a fishing license so I didn't fish, but everyone else did, altogether they caught 9 fish! I love this amazing man!

My beautiful little sister Lacee, got married this weekend. It was an incredible day, and everything went perfect. I am SO excited for her!

We also went to the zoo this weekend. It was so much fun, and the weather was really nice for the most part. Kray was such a good boy, and just enjoyed the ride.. He's a little too young to really enjoy the animals, but even Tim and I enjoyed them!

In honor of Mckray turning 9 months tomorrow-I thought I would post a few recent pictures of him. I can't believe that I've now had my Kray baby here for as long as I carried him. He's now showing us his crazy little personality, I love every bit of it! What a joy he is to us.. Mom and Dad love you little boy!

Swimming

On Friday I took Mckray swimming for the first time. We went with the girls in my family to my aunts condo in Pleasant Grove and had a "swimming party" followed by pizza and a very intense game of hell! It was a pretty windy day, so we didn't get much swimming in, it got too cold for the babies, but I think they had a really good time. I thought that Mckray would splash around and be him-crazy-self, like he is in the bathtub, but he was really mellow and just sat there and watched all of the kids play.. it was so cute! I really think he enjoyed it, although he wouldn't smile for anything the whole time he was in there.. silly boy! Here are a few pictures of Kray in the pool. {and yes, I have his onesie on so that he didn't get sunburned, Tim thought I was crazy}

We had a lot of fun, I can't wait to take him again!

11- What would he never wear? I have to go with Lacey on this one and say pink! Tim would NEVER wear pink, even though I try talking him into it all of the time!

12- What is his favorite sports team? Dallas Cowboy's

13- Who did he vote for? McCain

14- Who is his best friend? Does his wife count?? Well besides me, it would be his brothers.. He loves spending time with them!

15- What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? Pick up his clutter!!

16- What is his heritage? Who knows?? I think the Beesley's have a heritage of their own!

17- You bake him a cake for his birthday, what kind is it? The funfetti kind {with all of the little colors in it}

18- Did he play sports in high school? Yeah, he played football for two years and baseball for two years.. then joined the golf team, and loved it!!

19- What could he spend hours doing? Puttering!! He loves to just ride around in the old brown ford, go and visit his brothers and family, and find something to do on the farm!!

20- What is one unique talent? He has the ability to light up a room full of people and put smiles on everyone's face within seconds.. he's so fun!!
