Weekend at the Sand Dunes

This weekend we took a little family trip out to the Sand Dunes. We had such a good time! We went out Thursday night and stayed until Sunday afternoon. The weather wasn't very nice on Thursday and Friday, but Saturday wasn't too bad.. then of course Sunday was beautiful (the day we have to come home) Kray was sick most of the time for his first little camping trip, I'm sure he was happy to be home! Here are a few pictures of our weekend!

Sunday we rode out to the dunes and let Mckray play on the sand, he didn't really know what to think of it.. he was so cute! After playing in it for a few minutes, he was SO ready for a nap! (he was sick.. hence the red, puffy eyes and snotty nose)

I was finally able to record Mckray giggling- sort of... I was on the computer and Tim was in our bedroom playing with Kray, he was seriously laughing from his little belly.. SO CUTE! So I of course run for my camera to record it and by the time I got there, he wasn't quite as "into" it anymore, but I still got a little bit of it! I hope you enjoy this sweet little screaming giggle as much as we do!! :)

Happy Easter from the Beesley's!!

What an awesome day!! We started it off by showing Kray what the 'Easter Bunny' had brought him. He had also hid some eggs around our house, so Tim and Kray went on a little hunt for them. It was so cute!
Here's a picture of his little basket, I thought it was way cute, but I didn't have time to take a picture before Tim started emptying it!

About noon we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Beesley's. They put together an egg hunt for all of us.. it was so much fun!! Here's pictures of Kray and Ty getting their eggs!

Later, we went to Fairview to have dinner with my family.. it was so much fun, almost everyone was there! Here's Kray with his new little hat that Grandma and Grandpa Kogianes gave him.. SO CUTE!

We had such a wonderful day! I'm so grateful to have such an amazing family to share these special occassions with!

Easter Eggs!

This year we just bought the plain-jane egg dying kit, since we can never get the really cool ones to work. Usually we write on them with crayons, and decorate them up, but for the life of me I couldn't find a crayon in the house. We still had a great time- even if they are very plain!

1. I hate clutter! Since Tim is quite the "pack-rat" this is almost a daily issue for us.. I have designated one closet in the house for him, and so instead of throwing his things away (yes, I have done that) I just put it in "his" closet, and he can clean it.. Although, the cleaning hasn't happened yet. :)

2. I love to drive.. especially when I'm frustrated. There's just something about turning the radio up and driving that makes life feel a little easier.

3. I talk in my sleep, and it can get pretty embarrassing.. So here's an interesting story- when Tim and I were dating, I went camping with his family for the first time, I was sleeping on a bunk bed (you know how small those are in trailers, right?) Anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night screaming, freaking out and yelling, "GET ME OUT OF HERE.. I CAN'T BREATHE!" I had woke everyone in the trailer up and I was VERY embarrassed! Tim is constantly telling me that I was talking to him in the middle of the night- and he wonders why I'm so tired.

4. I hit a herd of sheep! Ok, this is so not funny!!! So stop laughing!! It was when I was living in Mountainville with a couple of my girlfriends, I was on my way to work.. looking in my rear view mirror as I went around a corner and before I knew it, I was PLOWING through a herd of sheep! I killed four of them, they were everywhere!! It was pretty traumatic for me!

5. Like most others.. I HATE LAUNDRY! I can keep up on my house work pretty well, keeping things clean, but for the life of me I can't keep up with the laundry! Tim and I have finally set a goal that if I can just put one load into the wash per day, it won't be too bad. Well we made that goal about two weeks ago, and haven't yet started!

6. I absolutely love being with my family! I love being with Tim and Mckray, doing anything spending time with them. But Tim is a busy guy and isn't home a whole lot so I visit my mom's house often! I could probably go over everyday (I'm sure she'd get sick of me) and just visit with them.. my grandparents and extended family too!!

7. I am a sweet-tooth FREAK! I could probably go all day long without an ounce of protein or a serving of vegetables or fruit and just eat cake, cookies or anything with sugar in it!! It's TERRIBLE!

8. I'm not a morning person.. AT ALL! I swear every morning I wake up I feel like I want to hurt someone just because I have to get out of bed. But give me about a half an hour and I'm ok! Its not very pretty at our house when Tim is still home in the morning when I wake up.. He's just so noisy and thinks its so fun to annoy me. Most mornings I wake up to him poking me.. ugh!!!

9. I love being a mom!! Seriously, everyone needs to try it! Its the most amazing thing ever.. I can't even explain how incredible it is.. just take my word for it and try it!!!

10. I love to decorate! If I only had the money to do everything that I wanted... My house could be pretty amazing!!

For those of you who think that Tim is NOT patient...

I am a MESS!! Seriously I think having kids makes you loose your mind! I only have one child.. I only work 16 hours a week and you would think that I could get things right, right? Well today I find out that I just paid almost $700 extra on our house payment for this month. I signed up for automatic bill pay (where they take it directly out of your account.. ) today Tim looked at his bank account and was a little curious as to why we're giving the mortgage company an extra $660. Come to find out.. his brilliant wife typed in $660 in the extra principle amount box, therefore, its not the mortgage company's fault.. its mine!!! Seriously, what the??? Luckily they can send us a refund on it (thats probably the only reason I'm still alive!) Then the only payment I don't have on automatic bill pay, my cell phone.. yep forgot to pay that one! Don't worry though, I caught it in time so you can still call me :) Yeah.. I've lost it!

So you're probably thinking that forgetting to pay the bills or paying hundreds extra isn't so bad, right? Well, I, being so brilliant decide that I need to get Tim GOOD for April Fools day.. all of the ladies at work have good ones for their husbands, faking pregnancies etc. So I had a major brainstorm session and decided that taking his derby car out of our backyard would be SUPER AWESOME! If any of you know Tim, you know that his derby cars are his most prized possessions, somedays I think he would probably pick them over his wife (today being one of them).. anyway, so I call my dad and talk him into towing the car to someone elses house for the day, well Colter thought it would be even funnier to take it to Sterlings house. So they did! Then I posted the car on KSL to pretend like someone had stollen it and was trying to sell it. (Tim checks KSL for derby cars probably three times a day) Sorry, this is getting really long- to make a long story short.. Sterling called Tim, Tim called me.. then Sterling hid Tims derby car from the both of us, and now we don't have a derby car in the back yard.. and its not April Fools day anymore! Tim hasn't told me just how frustrated he is with me... yet. But I'm sure if I continue this behavior, he's gonna do something about it!! ha ha :) What an amazing patient man! Sorry for this week babe.. I'll make it up to you!!
